She is survived by: her parent Amanda Getson; her children, Joan Steele (Eric) of Pickering, Bruce Buote (late Diane) of Tignish, Linda Buote of Summerside, Kenny Buote (Trudy) of Tignish, Gerald Buote (Shirley) of Tignish, Mary Gavin (Wayne) of Tignish, Annie Omelon (Paul) of Coburg, Eleanor Buote of Tignish and David Buote (Kelly) of Kildare Capes; her sibling Doris Kacewiez (Frederick) of Winnipeg; and her niece Florence Buote of Tignish. She is also survived by her 45 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
