He was predeceased by: his parent Robert Shaw; and his niece Ruth MacKendrick. He is survived by: his parent Ada Shaw (Thomson); his wife Jean Shaw (Barnett); his children, Pam Walsh (Craig), Lisa McCarville (Derryl) and Robbie Allen (Lori); his grandchildren, Jack McCarville, Ella McCarville, Liam Walsh, Daniel Walsh, Brock Shaw and Briar Shaw; and his siblings, Elaine MacKendrick (Glendon), Fenton Shaw (Hazel) and Allan Shaw (Wendy). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Kid Sport PEI would be appreciated.
