She is survived by: her husband Balfour Read; her children, Paul (Gayle), Vera Reno (Jerry) and Steven (Laura); her sister Audrey MacKay; and her sister-in-law Marjorie Read. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
