He was predeceased by: his parents, Garfield Day and Eva Day (MacAusland); his sisters, Linda MacIntosh, Blanche Howatt (Ray) and Marjorie Conrad (Bruce); and his brother-in-law Sherman MacCaull.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Day (Clarkson); his sons, Robert "Bobby" and Tim Day (Christine); his grandchildren, Justin, Hannah, Alex, Jordyn and Camdyn; his sister Neta MacCaull; and his brother-in-law Don MacIntosh. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
