He is survived by: his parent Violet Heckbert (Sellick); his wife Helen Heckbert (MacEwen); his children, David Heckbert (DeAnna) and Marilyn Poirier (Tim); his grandchildren, Gina Awalt (Jason), Gregory (Lauren), Julia, Brett and Taylor; his great grandchildren, Jaden, Ella and Forrest; and his sister Doris Dommermuth.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Heart and Stroke Foundation, or Prince County Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
