He was predeceased by: his parents, Nelson Ryder and Margaret Ryder (Gray); and his siblings, Vernon Ryder, Ruby Ryder, Doreen MacLeod (Bill) and Orpha Dueweke (Emmett).
He is survived by: his sons, Wade (Darlene) and Darren (Robyn); his grandchildren, Brandon, Alecia and Grace; and his niece Janice Perry (Edmond). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
