She was predeceased by: her parents, James Cochrane and Myrtle Cochrane (Dearman); her husband Everett Nathan Ward (Ev); her siblings, Harley "Leroy" Cochrane (Louise), Barb Hagan (Earle) and Eula Hopper (George); and her brother-in-law Bob Nichols.
She is survived by: her daughters, Heather Dorsey, Lower Montaque, Nancy Tarkka (Jeff), Deborah Ward (Mike Hoar) and Sharon Pollock Summerside (Mark Pyne); her grandchildren, Luke, Marshall, Ian, Sydney, Sam, Emma (Zack) and Alissa; and her sisters-in-law, Rowlena Cochrane of The Forties, N. S., Louise Nichols of Bobcaygen, ON and Valerie Mader (Allan) of Kentville, NS..
