He was predeceased by: his sister Bernadette Curley; and his nephews, Jason Jr. and Ron Jr.. He is survived by: his siblings, Ron (Judy), Sonny (Norma), Gary (Julie), Clair Moore (Mike), Florina MacLeod (Austin), Bruce (Barb) and Gerard; his brother-in-law Ivan Curley; and his friend Melvin. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations in Mikie's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
