Lia was predeceased by: parents, Dirk Leegwater and Tryntje Leegwater (Peetoom); former husbands, Bertram Woodside and Stanley Murray; children, Grace Arsenault and Ervin; and granddaughter Angelia Lia.

Lia is survived by: children, Janet Woodside (Al Brouillette), Beecher Woodside (Virginia), Poplar Grove, Heather Lockhart (John), Malpeque Woodside and Suzanne Woodside (Leonce Gallant); stepchildren, Robert (Petya), Cherry Campbell (Silbert Bridges), Karen Arsenault (Bobby) of Summerside, Doreen Murray (Ed Campbell), North Enmore, Mark (Monica), Nancy (Paul), Mount Pleasant, Donna and Roy Murray; children-in-law, Paul Arsenault and Roma Murray; siblings, Gertje Leslie (Clarence) of Halifax, NS, Jacob Leegwater and River; and siblings-in-law, Ursela Cornish, O'Leary Murray and Ralph Murray. Lia is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
