It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of June Ross Corney (Summerside, Prince Edward Island), born in Murray Harbour, Prince Edward Island, who passed away on October 2, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Glendon Johnston and Mary Ellen "May" Johnston (Nicholl); and her brother Donald Johnston. She is survived by: her husband Windsor Corney; her children, David (Peggie), Shawn Dobbie (Perry) and Meghann Badhwar (Mark); her grandchildren, Colby and James Badhwar; her brother Robert Johnston (Jean); and her nephew John Cozens (Sue). She is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews.
A graveside committal service, for family and friends, will be held at Peoples Cemetery, Summerside, on Friday at 10:30 a.m. Memorial donations to the Prince County Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
