She was predeceased by: her husband John A; her cousins, Linda Waddell (John), Laura Waddell (Jamie), Ellen Murray (Ian) and Mary Waddell (Todd); and her parents, Verna Warden (Ross) and Vince Walsh.

She is survived by: her children, Joanne Waddell (Dale) and Stephen (Cindy); her grandchildren, Matt Waddell (Jodi), Joel Waddell (Louise), Sarah Hilborn (Kevin), Katie McNally (Matthew), Kara Kamari (Ado), Naomi Murinzi (Eric), Hannah Cousins and Daniel (Jennifer); her great grandchildren, Michael, Colin, Izzy, London, Norah, Elliot, Kai and Elsie; and her friend Sandra.

Memorial donations can be made to the Integrated Palliative Home Care Program , People's Cemetery in Malpeque or Summerside Presbyterian Church.
