With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Patrick Cheverie (Summerside, Prince Edward Island), born in Pictou, Nova Scotia, who passed away on November 1, 2018. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parent James Cheverie; his wife Maxine Cheverie (Dewhirst); and his son David Cheverie. He is survived by: his parent Emma Cheverie (Stewart); his children, Marie Roop (Kevin), Jim Cheverie, Kathy Gallant (Ron Skrastins) and Robert Cheverie (Banlu); his children-in-law, Barb Gallant (Blair Bowness), Monica Dawson and Paul Gallant; his grandchildren, Adam Cheverie (Jenn), Jamie Gallant (Amanda Potts), Ryan Gallant, Nathan Roop, Aaron Roop, Michael Gallant (Nicki Curry), Nancy Cheverie (Annie MacGillivary), Samantha Cheverie (Troy Merrick) and Brian Cheverie; and his great grandchildren, Brandon, Logan, Naomi, Khloe and Quenton.
