She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Macdonald and Goldie Macdonald (Guignion); her sister Lois Schurman; and her brother-in-law Hon. She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Marsha Schurman, Brent Schurman (Carol), Paul M. Schurman (Heather Johnston), Stephen Macdonald (Lisa Hartery), Hilary Macdonald (Mike Gillis) and Halifax; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Eva Schurman (Forrest Lilly), Lisa Schurman-Smith (Rudy Smith), Michael Schurman (Linda), Ben Schurman (Colleen), Queensland, Charlie Schurman, Kelsey Ritter (Isabel McCarthy), Halifax, Meghan Ritter (Tim Totten), Katie Macdonald, Ruby Macdonald, Westley Johnston, Spain and Laura Johnston; her friends, Shirley Macdonald and Emily; her brother Dr. Clive Macdonald; her sister-in-law Theresa Macdonald; her nephew Shaun Macdonald; her great-nephew Bobby Schurman; and also, Patrick Strongman (Deanna Kerry), Nathan Schurman, Katie Strongman, Anna, Elizabeth, Charlotte Smith, Chloe, Callie Schurman, Hastings Schurman and Queensland.
