He is survived by: his spouse Darlene MacDonald; his child Shawn MacDonald; his stepchildren, Andrea Watson (Pavel Szczesny), Freetown and James Watson (Natalie); his granddaughter Elena Szczesny; his siblings, Aubrey (Eloise), Summerside, Dick (Audrey), Donnie (Nancy), Bedeque, Helen Arsenault (Paul) and Cornwall; and his siblings-in-law, MaryLou Crozier (Alan), Leonard MacDonald (Donna) of New Annan, John MacDonald (Krista) of New Annan, Jimmy MacDonald (Carol) of New Annan, Lela MacDonald and Donna King (Barry). He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations in Grant's memory to Prince County Hospital Oncology Unit would be greatly appreciated.
