With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gerarda Mary Corcoran of Summerside, Prince Edward Island, who passed away on September 24, 2020 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Emmett and Emma Pearl Shea; her husband Herman Corcoran; her daughters, Kathleen and Rosa; her grandson Meredydd; and her siblings, Patrick, James Shea, Eileen, Frances, Florence, Pricilla and Jennie.
She is survived by: her children, Hermia Venne (Roch), Cheryl Bradley (Emmett), Pearlene Schnitzler (Bill), Betty Fenton (Larry), Anne Armstrong (David), Mary Gemmell (Ian), Carmel Richards (Doug), Clare Cole (Martin), Theresa Corcoran (Tom), Shane Corcoran (Wanda), Michael Corcoran (Sylvia), Colleen Bannon (David) and Rodney Corcoran (Donna). She is also survived by her 29 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.
Due to COVID19 restrictions, there will be no visitation.
