It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Herman Huestis (Summerside, Prince Edward Island), born in Wilmot, Prince Edward Island, who passed away on January 18, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Effie Elaine (Waugh) and Robert Earle Huestis; his siblings, Gordon, Wendell Huestis and Helen MacKay; and his siblings-in-law, David MacKay, Lee Reeves, Don Reeves, Thane Campbell, Marnie Reeves, Florence Huestis and Erma Huestis.
He is survived by: his wife Dallas "Fern" Huestis; his goddaughter Alecia Konyk Hall; and his sisters-in-law, Agnes Reeves, Sheila Reeves and Erma Campbell. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and grandnieces and grandnephews.
