She was predeceased by: her parents, J. Scott Cairns and Georgie Cairns; her sons, Dean and Don; her sisters, Winifred McDowell and Helen Millar; and her siblings-in-law, Peter Borys, Elliott Ferguson and Helen Ann Cairns.
She is survived by: her husband Douglas Ferguson; her children, Kent (Laurie), Garth (Jennifer), David (Carol Ann) and Karen Ann (Robert); her siblings, William "Bill" Cairns, Louise McConaghy (Don) and Amy Borys; and her siblings-in-law, Vernon Millar, Rev. William McDowell, Merrill Ferguson (Marty), Lyman Ferguson (Gail), Florence Provencher (Winston), Wendell Ferguson and Helga Ferguson.
