She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Winchester and Gertrude Winchester (Baglole); her former husband Sgt. Burns Ellis; her husband Joseph Richards; her granddaughter Keshia Ellis; her siblings, Edith Praught and Oswald Winchester; and her brother-in-law Denis Dolan.

She is survived by: her daughters, Ann Ellis (Butch Ramsay) and Kelly McMahon (Shawn); her stepchildren, Catherine Cormier (Dennis McFadden), Timmy Richards (Linda), Julie Englehart (John), Marie Thibodeau and Peter Richards (Carolyn); her siblings, Sadie Dolan, Shirley Arsenault (Reg) and Robert Winchester (Cindy); and her sister-in-law Doris Winchester. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren.

Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or St. Paul's Cemetery Fund would be, appreciated.
