She was predeceased by: her parents, Bruce Barkhouse and Thelma Barkhouse (Sanford); her brothers, Eric and Averill Barkhouse; her grandchild Avery Gorman; and her brother-in-law Wendell Simm.
She is survived by: her husband Gordon Allison MacDougall; her children, Jennifer Gorman (Kimble), Gregory MacDougall (Janice) and Jason MacDougall (Beth); her grandchildren, James, Josh, Emily MacDougall, Laura MacDougall and Alexander Gorman; her sister Carole Simm; and her siblings-in-law, Brenda Barkhouse (Gorman), Ivy Crowe and John Crowe. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
