He was predeceased by: his parent Donat M.; his siblings, Euclide (Julia), Edward (Beatrice), Josephine (Cyr), Anita (Expedit) and René (Phyllis); his siblings-in-law, Johnny Shea (Hazel), Stella Gavin (Cecil) and Sheila Powers (Lornie); and his mother-in-law Helena Gavin (Villard).
He is survived by: his parent Beatrice Arsenault (Aucoin); his spouse Sherren Arsenault (Shea); his sons, Donat of Sydney and Robert (Debbie) of Halifax; his grandchild Lynaya (Donat); his siblings, Louise Gallant (Dolore) of Wellington, Martin (Wilma) of Kelowna, Raymond of St. Raphäel, Wilfred (Stella) of Saint John and Florence Gallant (Elmer) of Saint John; his sisters-in-law, Shirley Elsworth (Pius), Margaret Albert (Roy) and Betty Arrigoni (Carl); his great-niece Kimberly; and also Kimberly Powers. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Father Roy Shea Mission in Brazil would be greatly appreciated.
