We are sad to announce that on October 3, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Beulah Madeline Newson of Summerside, Prince Edward Island. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Beulah Madeline Newson to show support.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Hopper and Vesta Hopper (Kennie); her siblings, Vaughan Hopper and Verna Hopper; her son-in-law Thomas Shadbolt; and her stepson Edward "Ted" Simmons.

She is survived by: her children, Sharon Shadbolt, Ralph Brewster (Suzanne) and Shelly Simmons. She is also survived by numerous stepchildren, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Summerside Baptist Church, Prince County Hospital Foundation or Diabetes Canada (PEI) would be appreciated.

“Dear Sharon, Ralph and families, please accept my sincere condolences on the passing of your mother. Have many memories of knowing her while I was growing up. Lots of fun times at her house playing with Sharon and of being allowed to wheel Ralph in his carriage - being quite a lot younger than Sharon and me he was somewhat of a toy for us. I am picturing her and can even "hear" her voice. She lived a long, productive life - and I am sure many former student have good memories of her as well.”
