He was predeceased by: his parents, Cyril Aucoin and Irene Aucoin-Arsenault (Chaisson); his brothers, Emmanuel and Alyre Aucoin; his stepbrother Melvin Arsenault; and his stepfather Arsene Arsenault.

He is survived by: his wife Darlene Aucoin (Hashie); his children, Dennis Aucoin (Marina), Amanda Oatway (Cecil) and Tracey Woodward; his grandchildren, Matthew, Chelsie, Khalie, Jake, Cole and Chloe; his siblings, Henry Aucoin (Doris), Norma Sonier (Ralph), Alphonse Aucoin (Joyce) and Anita Bennett (Sheldon); and his sisters-in-law, Janet Aucoin and Esther Dumas. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
