He was predeceased by: his uncle Percy Crookshank; and his cousin Bob Crookshank. He is survived by: his spouse Ethel (MacLean); his children, Norma Jean Anderson and Bill (Eleana); his stepchildren, John MacInnis, Trevor MacInnis, Linda Franklin (Mike) and Pamela Ross; and his grandchildren, William, Sophie MacInnis, Stephen Ross and Michael Ross.
