He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Tanton and Gladys Tanton (Sentner); his brothers, Darrold (Catherine) and Roger; and also Deborah.
He is survived by: his wife Debra; his sister Joanne Arvay (Arnis Zarins); and his sister-in-law Eunice Tanton. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
