She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill Hatton and Mavis Hatton; her brothers, Winston, Paul and Kent; her brothers-in-law, John Compton and Tony Kelly; and her in-laws, Libbie MacKenzie, Simon Compton, Henry Compton and Sophie MacLaren Clarke.

She is survived by: her husband Ralph; her children, Valerie, Ben (Judy) and Diana (Chris); her grandchildren, Jesse, Liam and Alexandra (Chase); her siblings, Janet Martindale (Marty), Margaret Kelly, Beverly Murphy (Barry), Karen Robbins (James), Christine Compton, John Hatton (Paul MacPhail) and Shelia Keeping (Lloyd); and her siblings-in-law, Collette Hatton, Pam MacKenzie, Ada Compton, Isabel Dingwell, Ruth Brouwer, Hope Lutz (Larry), Anne Compton and David Compton. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
