Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Wendell Paynter of Souris, Prince Edward Island, who passed away at the age of 89, on October 10, 2023. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruby Battersby (Tom) and Roland Paynter; and his brother Rick. He is survived by: his daughters, Wendy Paynter, Tracy Jackman (Michael) and Shelley O'Connor (Kevin); the mother of his children Betty Paynter; his siblings, Shirley Ferguson (Jack), Junior (Mary), Marilyn Prescott (Bill), Thelma and Carolyn Paynter (Blair); and his sister-in-law Susan Paynter. He is also survived by numerous nieces, and nephews.
If so desired, donations in memory of Wendell can be made to the St. Alban's Cemetery Fund or the Souris Legion.
