She was predeceased by: her son Richard Griffin (Ricky); her parents, Joseph Hazelton and Grace Hazelton; and her brothers, Russell (Ruth) and Spurgeon Hazelden (Ester).
She is survived by: her husband Huntley; her children, Donnie (Candace) and Brian Griffin; her stepchildren, Cathy Rose (David), Martinus Rose (Sharon), Gretha Rose (Sandy), Mickey Rose (Mary) and Wallace (Lisa); her grandchildren, Katelyn, Brittany Sheehan, Jordan and Kale Testawitch; her aunts, Laurena Singleton and Carol Shepard (Brian Hazelton); and her pet Elvis. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
If so desired, donations in memory of Thelma can be made to St. Alban's Cemetery Fund or the PEI Humane Society and are appreciated by the family.
