He was predeceased by: his parent Joseph Hazelden; his wife Esther; his daughter Sandra MacDonald of Sylvia Fleury; his brother Russell; and his significant other Emma Rideout.
He is survived by: his parent Grace Hazelden; his children, Carol Shepherd (Earle), Laurena Singleton (Derryl) and Brian (Shirley); his sister Thelma Rose (Huntley); and his sons-in-law, Syl MacDonald and Eric Fleury. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
