He was predeceased by: his father Andrew; his siblings, Kenny and Carol Blaisdell; and his parents-in-law, Daniel, Auldis, Roger and Dianne Laybolt.
He is survived by: his wife Wendy; his son Brett Wood; his grandchildren, Brandon, Chloe, Caroline, Nicholas, Maddox, Cassie, Cole, Sara, Stephen, Clinton, Jazlyn and Allie; and his siblings, Rhoda (Pat), David (Mary Margaret), Beverly (Jimmy) and Bernie (Lisa).
If so desired, donations in memory of Preston can be made to the St. Charles Cemetery Fund or the Eastern Health Foundation (Souris Hospital).
