She was predeceased by: her parents, William Power and Flora Sutherland of Little Harbour; and her significant other Jack. She is survived by: her children, Stephen (North), Camilla, Matt and Nancy; her grandchildren, Mike, Paul and Melissa; her great grandchild Lucy; her nieces, Doris MacPhee, Mary, Ann MacInnis, Margie Stewart, Lorraine Gillan, Pauline Bonna and Billie Marie Trotter; and her close friends, Wayne and Ann Horrocks.
