Leona Theresa MacDonald Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leona Theresa MacDonald (Souris, Prince Edward Island), who passed away on October 1, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Bushey and Mary Bushey; her husband Earl MacDonald; her sons, Wayne (Ann), Bert (Liz) and Paul (Darlene); her siblings, Bert Townshend (Jan), Ellen Lewis (Joe), Isabelle Pineau (Al) and Harry; and her sister-in-law Paula Bushey.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Tim (Rebecca), Sarah (Jordan), Fraser (Samantha), Kara, Jacob and Emma; her great grandchild Harrison; her siblings, Jimmy (Doreen), George (Mary) and Flo MacLaughlin (Leo); and her sister-in-law Grace Duchno (Helen Bushey). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
If so desired, donations in memory of Leona can be made to St. Mary's Cemetery Fund or The Eastern Kings Health Foundation (Souris Hospital) and are appreciated by the family.
