He was predeceased by: his wife Pansy; his parents, Selden MacLean and Ethel MacLean; his sister Dorothy MacLean; and his niece Barbara Hunter-Edge.

He is survived by: his children, Gordon (Anne) and Doreen MacLean; his grandchildren, Chris (Ashley) and Kevin MacLean; his great grandchildren, Ava and Jaxon; his nephew Jim Edge; and his niece Beverley Harris.
