She was predeceased by: her husband Claude MacKenzie; her parents, Aubrey Aitken and Sadie Aitken; her sons, Carter MacKenzie and Craig MacKenzie; her daughter-in-law Heather Cheverie; and her brother Jackie Aitken.

She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Norton (Craig), Boyd (Carmel), Darren (Sheri) and Valerie MacKenzie; her child-in-law Anna MacKenzie; her grandchildren, Natalie (Andrew), Travis (Katrina), Candice (Rob), Curtis (Alex), Justin (Melody), Dylan (Sarah), Avery, Connor, Patrick, Cara, Thomas, Mia, Lauren and Andrew; her brother Edison Aitken (Margie); and her sister-in-law Rita Aitken. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
