He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Gillan and Caroline Gillan; and his siblings, Juanita Geddes, Muddy, Graham Gillan and Brenda Carey.

He is survived by: his wife June; his children, Eileen Cecchini (Fred), Jerrid (Rosslyn) and Emberlee Gillan; and his close friends, Francie, Randy, Todd, Andy, Leo, Walter, Wendell, Mike, Tommy, Mickie and Jason.
