He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy O'Hanley; his parents, Daniel O'Hanley and Mary Ellen O'Hanley; and his siblings, Mildred (Aeneas), Mary (Hubert), Helen (Gus), Maud (Jimmy), Elmer, Frank, Wally, Peggy and Danny.

He is survived by: his children, John L., Jerry (Karen), Andrew (Kate), Angela O'Hanley and Carolyn Forrestall (Vince); his grandchildren, June Fitzgerald (Brad) and Jenna Forrestall; his siblings, Leonard O'Hanley (Isabel) and Jenny McQuaid (Leo); and his siblings-in-law, Bernice, Rita O'Hanley and John MacDonald.
