She was predeceased by: her parents, Ada Gallant and Aeneas Gallant. She is survived by: her husband Harold; her daughter Gina MacDonald (Eldon); her grandson Andy MacDonald (Megan); her great grandchildren, Kaden and Kylie; her siblings, Howard Gallant (Rita) and Helena Jamieson (David); and her sister-in-law Della Gallant. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
