He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Brake and Marcella Brake; his siblings, Anne and Peter; his father-in-law Leo Anderson; his nephews, Cole Lawrence and Connor Taylor; and his niece Sabrana Anderson.
He is survived by: his wife Cathy; his mother-in-law Marjorie Anderson; and his siblings-in-law, Karen Anderson, Sheila Wolters (Dirk), Amanda Lawrence (Darcy), David (Diane), Scott (Angela), Steven (Christina) and Adam Anderson (Melanie). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
