He was predeceased by: his wife Lorraine; his son Jeff (Sheila); his grandchildren, Leigha (Ethan) and Jake (Keisha); his parents, Victor Crandall and Henrietta Crandall; his sister Ann Tracy; his nephew James Tracy; and his siblings-in-law, Dawna Dael and Ronnie Currie.

He is survived by: his brother Gordie (Carol); and his brothers-in-law, Dave Tracy and Bernie Dael. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
