He was predeceased by: his wife Lillian; his parents, Josie Dan and Effie MacInnis; his sisters, Evelyn and Anna; and his granddaughter Natalie MacInnis.

He is survived by: his children, Evelyn MacInnis (Barry MacDonald), Clayton, Garry, Gordie MacInnis and Melanie Power (Kevin); his grandchildren, Timmy, Mallory, Cody (Valentina), Jesse (Dillon), Sarah and Lilly; and his great grandchildren, Ava, Wilder, Riley and Flynn. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
