With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Dorothy MacIntyre (Souris, Prince Edward Island), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Dorothy left this world on December 14, 2024 at the age of 97, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Laurena McInnis and Peter McInnis; her husband John MacIntyre (Johnny Willie); her son Peter; and her siblings, Mary (Mack), John (Flo), Harold, Petie, Harry and Joe.
She is survived by: her children, Wayne (Barbara), Jennie and Elizabeth; her grandchildren, Darren (April), Coralie, Suzanne (Bradley), Melissa (Kirk), Neil, Jennifer (Dylan), Vanessa (Mark) and Matthew (Nicole); her great grandchildren, Zoe, Mia, Hailey, Leah, Gracie, Marlee, Lauren, Josie, Gavin, Wesley, Shae and Decker; her great great grandchild Brynlee; and her sister-in-law Peg McInnis. She is also survived by her numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dingwell Funeral Home (3 Washington St, Souris, PE C0A2B0). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Columba Roman Catholic Church.
