He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Francis and Mary Elizabeth; his brothers, Andrew, James and Hughie MacEachern (Esther); his uncle Jimmy; and his great-niece Jessica.

He is survived by: his brother Adolphus; his nieces, Marjorie Birt (Wayne) and Joy Woodside (Wayne); his great-niece Shelby; and his great-nephew Lee.
