He is survived by: his wife Joan; his children, Robert (Stacey), Mark, Tim (Claire) and Mallory (Roque); his mother Barbara MacKinnon; his grandchildren, Emma, Ireland, Wilder, Ryzo, Ava and Isis; his siblings, Mary Irene (Stewart), Teresa (Bob), Barbie (Robbie) and Paul (Lori); his siblings-in-law, Becky and Gerald; his father-in-law Francis; and also Allan Jr..
