It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Wanda MacKendrick (O'Leary, Prince Edward Island), who passed away on February 10, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Shaw and Ada Shaw (Thomson); her parents-in-law, Kenneth and Margaret (Glendon); her daughter Ruth; and her brothers, Fenton and Wendell Shaw.

She is survived by: her children, Cindy (Mario Fiset) and Bill (Geri); her stepgrandchildren, Jill (George Ingebrand) and Tim (Alana); her stepgreat-grandchildren, Ben, Will and Emma Harris; her brother Allan Shaw (Wendy); her sisters-in-law, Hazel Shaw and Jean Shaw; her nieces and nephews, Rory Shaw (Ola), Anne Shaw Robinson (Tylan), Libby Shaw (Andrew MacFarlane) and Moira Shaw (Brandon Turner); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Sophie Shaw, Neely, Spencer, Darcy, Parker Robinson, Hank, Harrison MacFarlane and Alistair Turner; her nieces and nephews, Shanna Phillips (Lloyd), Jamie Shaw (Nicole), Pam Walsh (Craig), Lisa McCarville (Derryl) and Robbie Shaw (Lori Allen); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Tanner Murray, Samuel, Carson, Isaac Shaw, Liam, Daniel Walsh, Jack, Ella McCarville, Brock and Briar Shaw. She is also survived by Her youngest nieces and nephew, along with their children.

Due to current COVID restrictions, there will be a private wake and funeral for invited guests at Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel, O'Leary.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Community Hospital O'Leary Equipment Fund or Campbellton United Church Cemetery Fund.
