She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Smith and Irene Smith; her husband Ross MacKay; her parents-in-law, Harry and Ida MacKay; her son-in-law Christopher Lord; her siblings, Elizabeth, Edward Smith and Georgie; and her brothers-in-law, Russell McInnis, Orville Condley, Lloyd Ferguson, Jimmy Rix, Terry Chappell and Andrew.
She is survived by: her children, Barbie MacKay-Lord (late Christopher), Mill River, Debbie Huddleston (Graham) of Quispamsis, NB, Jamie MacKay (Melanie), Irishtown, Wendy Handrahan (Allan) and Campbellton.
She cared so deeply for others and for wonderful causes, she helped many seniors stay in their homes long after they could have gone into care, she donated, time, money, things, vehicles, whatever she thought someone might need.
