She was predeceased by: her husband Wyman Phillips; her parents, George Ellis and Etta Ellis (Dennis); her sons, Charles and Arthur; her son-in-law Claude MacNaught; her great grandchild Jason; and her siblings, Ken Ellis, William Ellis, Elsie Flood, Irene Sweet and Alma Florence.
She is survived by: her daughter Leta MacNaught; her daughters-in-law, Lillian Phillips and Nellie Phillips of New Glasgow, N. S; and her grandchildren, Claudette Sharpe (Roger), Kathy Milligan (Stephen), Connie Morrison (Robert), Vicki Harper (Blake), Robert MacNaught (Stephen Wedlock), Brian MacNaught (Belkis Cruz), Miles MacNaught, Darren MacNaught (Tracey Gordon) and Shelley Phillips. She is also survived by 19 great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.
