With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Norma Ruth Getson (O'Leary, Prince Edward Island), who passed away on December 21, 2023 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester and Olive (MacNeill); her husband Myles Getson; her parents-in-law, Ralph and Beverly Getson; and her stepfather Wellington Compton.
She is survived by: her children, Corey (Christie), Nicole Perry (John), Darcy (Christina) and Courtney (Nicholas); her grandchildren, Jacob, Ty, Bryce, Sullivan, Mitchel, Olivia and Viviana; her sisters, Barbara Morell (Eugene), Marilyn Smallman (Wayne) and Margaret Ann Graham (Wendell); and her siblings-in-law, Dawna Lynn MacNeill (Charlie), Wayne Getson (Claudette), Nova Jean Harris (Dale) and Ralph Jr. Getson (Jacinta).
In memory of Norma, memorials to O'Leary Church of Christ or Western Hospital Ladies Auxiliary or O'Leary Community Health Foundation - Palliative Care Unit would be appreciated.
