He was predeceased by: his parents, Truman Harris and Vera Harris (Sweet); his wife Elva Harris (Crossman); his daughter Deborah; his granddaughter Jodi; and his siblings, Alton, Ralph, Evan, Maude Smith, Jennie Betts, Amy Gray and Sarah Pelkey.

He is survived by: his daughters, Thelma Lidstone (Gordon) and Elaine McInnis; his sister Lois MacDonald (Don); his siblings-in-law, Florence Harris and Chippy Harris; and his niece Charlotte Lidstone. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
