She was predeceased by: her parents, Jamie Gard and Laura Gard (Easter); her brother Lloyd Gard (Lorna); and her brother-in-law George Carver (Laura). She is survived by: her spouse Fred Carver; her children, Holly LeClair (Michael) of Charlottetown, Scott (Jane Zakem), Heather, Gard Road and Shawn Marchand; her grandchildren, Savanna (Austin MacKinnon), Kiara, Hunter LeClair, Jacob and Noah Carver; and her sibling Linda Kinch (Roland).
