It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Celetta MacMillan (O'Leary, Prince Edward Island), who passed away on February 14, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis MacKenzie and Annie Belle MacKenzie (Gillis); her son-in-law Vincent Griffin; her children, Dale and Valerie Taylor; and her in-laws, Bernice MacWilliams (Jamie), Josie Clements (Lowell), Charlie (Verna), Annie Mae Sweezy (Lyle), Lewis (Jeannette), Pearl Hierlihy (Foster), Jack (Olive), Albert (Lila Mae), Alwyn Smallman (John), Donnie, Lila Naomi, Gladys MacMillan, Isabel Easter (Carl), Edward MacMillan (Velda), Ferne Carruthers (Clayton) and Jeanette Baglole (Ralph).
She is survived by: her husband Albert; her son-in-law Kirk Taylor; and also, Blair, Iva Griffin (Juliette), Kevin (Priscilla), Nancy, Vance, Ian (Cathy), Leita Chisholm (Leigh) and Chris (Dana). She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ferguson Funeral Home & Chapel (351 Main St, O'Leary, PE C0B1V0). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
