He was predeceased by: his wife Marion Luxton; his parents, Fred Luxton and Empress Luxton (Boulter); his sister Jean (Earl); his sister-in-law Doris Thompson (Sterling); his half-sister Blanche Forrester (Vic); and his nephews, Ralph and David Forrester.

He is survived by: his daughter Janet Dockendorff (Gordon); his grandchildren, Emily, John, Timothy, Bryden and James; his brother Roy Luxton (Velda); and his nieces and nephews, Blair, Brenda, Nancy, Valerie, Dwight, Gordon, Dianne, Diarre, Faye, Marvin, Kevin, Mary, Roger and Darlene.

In lieu of flowers, memorials for Lorne to Knutsford Cemetery or the Knutsford W.I School Fund would be greatly appreciate.
